Original gap: Create a desk shelf

1:

Create a desk shelf, to allow ease of access to more desk space and different storing options

2:

 Discussing the proposed problem, and then trying to find out exactly what the user's shortcomings in
the existing environment was a bit difficult. To make someone not regard the status quo as unchangeable, was especially problematic. Once that was achieved, however, and not allow the user to be too general was also quite a challenge, that said it was well worth it; shortcomings that I didn't even think of, were mentioned and, allowed for a richer, more thought provoking user needs list.

Week Two: Assignment #2.1


Initial Design Problem: 

Create a desk shelf


In what way might I : 

  Be a more effective person
       
  Improve productivity while working
     
  Reduce frustration and discomfort whilst working
     
  Spend less time organising one's desk and increase
  comfort whilst sitting at a desk
       
  Easily increase access to a multitude of different functions and
  increase computer user experience

   By creating a stand- alone shelf that can easily be placed upon a desk
       
   Utilise light- weight materials, sturdy enough to perform its function

1: A desk space maximizer, to improve usage and efficiency of the minimal space on a desk.
